Marylee Clough Oliver
June 8, 1926 -  December 12, 2017
Resident of Clayton

Marylee Oliver passed peacefully from this world into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 12, 2017.

We rejoice knowing that her spirit has been reunited with Evert, her husband of 57 years and many friends and family that have gone before her.

Marylee was born in Fresno, Ca. to Harold and Vera Clough.  She attended Fresno High School, enjoying tennis, piano, and time at Fish Camp with her sister and friends. In 1947 she graduated from Fresno State University with a BA in education.  Marylee met the love of her life, Evert while attending college.  They married in Fresno on June 5, 1948, returning to San Luis Obispo for Evert to attend Cal Poly.  Marylee taught elementary school in both Fresno and San Luis Obispo.  They lived in Salinas and Seacliff before settling in Concord and raising their family.  It was here that she was introduced to Bible Study Fellowship where she grew in her faith and served for many years.

As a Christian who lived her faith, Marylee is remembered as one who trusted God, and saw His hand in all of her circumstances.  Her Christ-like example has shaped the faith of her children and future generations.

Marylee is survived by her sister Marjorie Cook, her two children, Heather and Orrin, her daughter-in-law, Karen, three granddaughters, and nine great grand children.
