He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Francis Hill White Hansen, his father Norman Edward White, his stepfather Johannes Morch Hansen, his stepbrother Erich Morch Hansen and his stepsister, Eva Mae Fenton.
Norman is a graduate of Mt. Herman School, MIT, and Harvard Business School. He served in the Navy on the USS Galveston and retired from the Navy Reserve as a Lieutenant Commander. He served as CFO for several businesses in Southern California.
He was a good man, kind, and usually the smartest guy in the room. His lively discussions and debates around the dining room table will be sorely missed. He was an avid sailor, and loved backpacking, camping, and politics. He had a passion for sports cars and car races and loved his Austin Healy and 280Z.
