Obituary of Clifford T. Jones Jr.

Clifford T. Jones Jr., 87 yrs old (Lovingly known as Ted and " My Shaman") Went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 13, 2018. Ted was born to the late Clifford T. Jones Sr. and Ellis Jones on December 3, 1930 in San Francisco, Ca. He was raised in the Sunset District and as a child, enjoyed exploring Golden Gate park as his "backyard". Ted attended the prestigious Samuel Gompers Trade School in San Francisco and became a master electrician. This life long career served he and his family well. Ted loved to dance! He and sister, Helen, literally "cut" the rug while learning the jitter bug! Ted served in the United States Air Force and was an honorably discharged Veteran of the Korean war. Ted served in many positions and held many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His passion was scouting and received the high honor of the Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver Award. Ted enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking the John Muir Trail. He mentored many young men to successfully achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, during his tenure. Ted loved all things Native American and participated in many programs as a hoop dancer. He was always interested in health, wellness and alternative healing methods. He learned and used many modalities to help many achieve optimal health. Serving others was Ted's passion and life's work. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Ellis; his oldest son, Richard Jones; wife, Carmen Jones. He is survived by his wife, Christel Jones; - ex wife Roma Jones Cartagena; Sister, Helen Eike; Brother, Robert Jones; Children, Scott Jones; Elynn Fouche; Clayton Jones; Lisa Wood; 1 niece; 3 nephews; 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. What a beautiful legacy... Ted had a smile that radiated love and joy! He will surely be missed!
