He grew up in Ohio, enjoying country life with his sister, cousins, and friends and was a graduate of Fairborn High School, Miami University (Bachelor of Business Administration), and Oklahoma City University (Master of Business Administration). Kurt spent many years working in the field of finance in the San Francisco Bay Area before finishing his career as a Realtor. An avid golfer, Kurt spent much of his free time exploring beautiful golf courses on the west coast with his friends. Kurt is survived by his sister, Karen Waag, his step-children Matt Radomski (Adriana Radomski) and Kacie Stratton (Steve Stratton), his grandchildren Jonah, Nicolas, and Riley Stratton, and his many wonderful close friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 11th at 10:30 at Cornerstone Fellowship, 6641 Lone Tree Way, Brentwood, CA. A reception with a light lunch will be served after. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kurt’s honor to Extollo International, a nonprofit organization working to end extreme poverty in Haiti through education, employment, economic and character development. Kurt served on the board of directors for Extollo for several years, donated his time and resources to the organization, and even traveled to Haiti in 2013 to support their efforts directly.
