Marilyn F. Moore passed away peacefully on May 16, 2014, surrounded by family in Pleasant Hill, CA. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, John R. Moore, and her son, Robert E. Moore. John and Marilyn raised their family in Lafayette, CA before retiring to Maui, HI. She is survived by her seven children, John R. Moore, Jr., Melinda M. Wheeler, Charles E. Moore, Elizabeth E. Mastro, James F. Moore, Cheryl A. Nielsen, Kathleen M. Dixon; daughter-in-law Deborah Lewis-Moore; 17 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Habitat For Humanity, or Hospice of the East Bay.
