Grandma Betty was an active part of her grandchildren’s lives growing up. I have memories of spending time with her in San Ramon and going back to visit when she moved back to Nebraska. I remember her unique sense of humor and her making me laugh. My favorite thing she used to make for us as a snack was a toasted & wrapped tortilla with butter inside. I remember going to my first scary movie at the theater with grandma that I was a little too young for and her getting in trouble with my mom. We were very lucky to have her as a grandma. Rest in heaven Grandma, we love you.

Grandma Betty was the sweetest woman...She made me a part of the Family the first time I met her..So many Stories as a child to tell about her Great gift of Hospitality...from Catiqism classes..to little league practices...meeting her at Alpha Beta where she worked..drives home..records she bought me the latest artists she had taste..trips to Nebraska..and all the packages she sent me in War.. the only thing I didnt like to do was rub her feet..but I did it cause she stood all day..that woman was a worker...they don't make them like her anymore..she will be missed by Me and missed by all...Love & Kisses Grandma ..Smiles here

I don’t even know where to begin what our grandma Betty did for us and meant to us . The memories I have in my heart today will forever be with me . Each one of us grandchildren had our special moments and time that meant the most to each one of us . From movie dates , Mc Donald runs ( making sure we had our favorite toy or she would say some choice words) babysitting us , and forever spoiling us with whatever was in high demand for that year . She stood in lines for hours to make sure we had that Cabbage Patch doll or Atari for X-mas . She was loyal , true , animal lover , hard worker and not the person to piss off .Until the end I would ask her questions and she would respond how she wanted with a yup , nod of her head or a flip of the finger ! Now the house will be empty at 144 Cassandra place with so many memories that were forever made ! She watched her children grow up here , grandchildren & great grandchildren here in that home until she passed . I will forever have her memories in me . At times I just couldn’t take seeing her suffer . I wanted her home where she belonged safe and sound . She is now there and at peace . I will forever Love you grandma and my heart with always be with you .
My heart is broken but I know that she is home .

I remember grandma sending us big boxes at Christmas and we got so excited. I also remember her giving us money to go buy "pop", which she called soda. I'm so sorry for your loss. ❤
