Patricia Alexander, 79, of Concord, CA passed away March 11, 2020 following a fall complicated by a severe stroke.
Patty was born on January 23, 1941 to Harry and Vera Menefee in Richmond, VA, and she later moved to Concord, CA in 1979. She served in the Army Reserves. Patty retired from the Concord Naval Weapons Station, where she worked in Human Resources.
Patty loved politics, British comedies, books, occasional day trips to the casino, going to the opera and theater with friends, and, above all, her dogs.
Patty was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Vera Rabe, her father, Harry Menefee, step father Herman Rabe, and sister, Barbara Schobel.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Alexander, brothers Thomas Menefee and Herman Rabe, sister Kay Saleeby, nieces Terry Gau, Kimberly Ruth, Diane Hawkinberry, Cindy and Teresa Schobel, and nephews Gary and Michael Schobel.
Patty was a wonderful mother and good friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
