On Saturday, July 11, 2020, Rosalie Tricarico, loving partner, sister, and friend, passed away at age 65. Rosalie was born on March 15, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York, to John and Elizabeth (Pascarella) Tricarico. She moved to Staten Island when she was 14 where she lived until moving to the San Francisco Bay area of California in 1980 with her partner, Jeanne Scanlon. Rosalie worked in banking most of her career, alternating roles between project manager and operations manager. Rosalie had a passion for music and singing. She frequently sang at Karaoke clubs, at Java Jones Restaurant in Lafayette, at her home, and sang at her best friend’s wedding. She had a wonderfully soulful voice. Rosalie enjoyed cooking, especially anything Italian, and loved to show others how it was done. She enjoyed traveling, mostly to the California coast or Sonoma, but ultimately made her dream trip to Italy in 2007. Rosalie had an enormous and infectious sense of humor, making anyone around her laugh. She will be remembered for her kind, compassionate, and fighting spirit. Rosalie was preceded in death by her father, mother, and sister, Marie. She is survived by her partner Jeanne, sister, Angela Tricarico-Oddo and her husband Ben Oddo, two nephews, Thomas and Steven, and many friends, all of whom Rosalie loved and touched deeply. No service will be held due to COVID 19 restrictions.
