Obituary of Carlos Reyes

Carlos was born in Laredo, Texas and raised in Lake Odessa, Michigan and Pittsburg, California. He serviced his country during the Vietnam conflict while in the United States Army as a machine gunner. He earned the Purple Heart. He loved his brothers of the 4th Infantry Division, 1st of the 8th, Company A & B. He retired from Dow Chemical. Upon retirement he became an avid golfer and traveler. He enjoyed traveling the country to participate in golf tournaments, reunions with Army buddied and visiting family and friends. He is survived by Susan Reyes beloved wife of 53 years. Three Daughters Lisa Murillo and Phil Lawson, Michelle Nichols and husband Kevin, Sandra Reyes-Huertas and husband Jesus, Sr. Grandchildren Mollie Murillo, Kelsey Nichols, Aaron Nichols, Riley Nichols, and Jesus Huertas Jr., many cousins, nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by parents Manuel Sr. and Delia Reyes, sister Ida Reyes, brothers Manuel Reyes Jr., Alex “Rocky” Reyes and Eddie Reyes. Memorial and burial will take place at a later date at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. Carlos will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him. May he Rest In Peace.
