Marsha Roxbury Perkins, 77, of Danville, CA passed away on March 28, 2021 surrounded in love by her family. Born November 15, 1943 in Aurora, OH, Marsha was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, life partner and friend. She is survived by her sons Timothy and Jeffrey (Lynn) Perkins, her life companion William Marriner and his daughter Elise (Ken) Whitham, her sister Cynthia (Phil) Harris, nieces Susanne (Jim) Heath, Jennifer (Gale) Peppeard, and Lindsay (Kevin) Taylor, and nephew Phillip (Kris) Harris and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents Lester and Alberta Roxbury and sister Judith Perkins. A member of Alpha Delta Pi, Marsha graduated with a BA in education from Wittenburg University in 1965. She began her career as an elementary school teacher before leaving to raise her two boys. She later returned to education as a test facilitator at Kalamazoo Valley Community College where she impacted the lives of many students. She retired from KVCC to move to California and reside with William. Always a woman of service, she volunteered at San Ramon Regional Center and was an active member of San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church. Marsha will be remembered for her kindness, strength, warmth, humor and beautiful blue eyes. She enjoyed travelling the world with Bill and their families, spending time with their many friends, playing with her cherished granddogs, and enjoying the summers at Fallen Leaf Lake. Memorial services will be held at 11am on April 24th at San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church, but due to Covid-19 will be restricted to close family and friends. Internment services will be held at a later date in Ohio.
