Bobbie "Jean" Peaslee of Concord died on September 11, 2013. She was born on June 5, 1931 in Arizona and attended high school in Richmond, CA at Richmond High. She was in the banking industry for close to 40 years working as a teller. She loved reading mysteries and working crossword puzzles, but nothing more than family gatherings and visits from her grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her three children, Gary Peaslee (Nancy) of Sterling, Mass, Renee Daniel (Mark) of Sarasota, Florida, and Darlene Sustaita of Concord, CA; grandchildren, Patrick, Lauren, and Alyssa Peaslee, Nicole Summerford, Daniel Roberts, Michael and Matthew Sustaita; and two great grandchildren, Annabelle Summerford and Joshua Roberts; and six nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Manis, Sr and her sister, Betty Buss.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2011 Arnold Industrial Way in Concord. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Hospice of the East Bay, 3470 Buskirk Ave., Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
