Melvin A. Elliott, 82 of Discovery Bay passed away Aug 11th 2013. Born to the late Melvin T. and Helen Elliott on February 12, 1931 in Stockton he would go on to serve in Germany in the U.S. Army and then open Mel's Tire in San Leandro in 1964. His key to success in life and business was planted on a foundation of his friendly and honest way of treating people. All his dedicated work was rewarded by his enjoyment of motorcycle riding, boating and traveling.
Mel is survived by his son Brian Elliott and his grandson Brendan T. Elliott of Discovery Bay. Private family services will be held.
