Obituary of Matthew Guay

Please share a memory of Matthew to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Matthew Leroy Guay passed away on May 16, 2008. Born on October 18, 1983 he was just 24, but lived life to the fullest. He was a great husband, a loving father and a friend to so many. He loved bikes, camping, fishing, and enjoyed spending time with all those he loved. Matt was truely the "social butterfly". If someone needed help, he was the first to volunteer. His heart was greater than life itself. He often spoke of his brothers, Jonathan & Nathan, fondly, lovingly. He had a good relationship with his father, Kent. Matt adored his mom, Magdalene, and could not conceive how she managed to raise 3 boys. He thought she did a great job. Matt often told his wife that if he had to pick any in-laws in the world, he would have chosen Jerome & Emma whom he adored. Matthew is survived by his wife Maricor Guay, his two sons Dominic and Johnathan, his father, Kent Guay, his mother Magdalene Wilson-Letner, his father & mother in laws Jerome and Emma Bagalay, his brothers Jonathan, Nathan and Brent, his sister Rene, his uncles Mark, Andrew and Wilbert, his aunts Diana, Christine, Marguerite and Veronica, his grandmothers Shirley Guay and Lenora Wilson, and numerous cousins and nephews. Words cannot express how he was loved, how he will be missed, and how much we cared for him. A Trust Fund has been set up for Matthew's family.
