Obituary of Joseph Scott

Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Joseph Russell Scott, a.k.a. J.R. passed away suddenly on November 25th, 2007. Born on January 18th, 1991 J.R. was just 16 but during his brief time here with us, he left an indelible mark on all who knew him. With his striking blue eyes, warm smile, and soft demeanor he was a wonderful person to be around. J.R. absolutely loved outdoor sports, which included motorcross racing, skateboarding, and fishing. At the young age of 5 he began the pursuit of what would become a longtime-shared love of motorcross racing with his father. When he wasn't out shredding the track on his dirt-bike he was always willing to lend a hand for a neighbor or friend. J.R. loved spending time with his family and friends and could always be counted upon to bring a smile to your face. He spent many hours hanging out in the garage with his father and friends, learning life lessons, meticulously cleaning his bikes and race gear, joking around, laughing, and having a good time. He was a compassionate racer, loving son and brother, devoted friend, honorable, polite, and loving young man, a true gem who touched our hearts. And while he was taken from all of us way to soon we can find solace in knowing that he truly left all of us as better people for having known him. We love you J.R., may you rest in peace. J.R. is survived by his father Russ and Christina, adoring sister Morgan, his Aunts TeTe, Brandee, and Sally, Uncle Mike, numerous cousins, Grandparents and Great Grandma Rose.
