Marjorie Elaine Boiler
May 7, 1921 ? February 9, 2007
Resident of Antioch
Musician, teacher, author, wife, mother and friend. An accomplished musician in her youth, Marge chose the field of court reporting as a career at a time when very few women were reporters. Her license was # 42. She worked for the Naval Censorship during WWII and later was a reporter for the first United Nations held in San Francisco.
Dedicated to her craft, she spent her days in the municipal and superior courts of SF. As one of the founders of the original Court Reporter Training Center, many evenings were spent teaching and writing theory books.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband Frank R. Boiler and leaves their 5 loving and devoted children ? Michael of Medford, NJ, Marjorie of Antioch, Mary of Mariposa, Karen of Alpharetta, GA and Patricia of Antioch; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
