Nicole was born on July 12, 1978 in Daly City, CA and graduated from Ygnacio Valley High School in 1996. Her son, and the light of her life, Corrie, was born in 2001 and has been a constant source of love and joy to Nicole and all her family and friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest, traveling with friends and family, working in assorted job settings, and eventually returning to school to obtain her Associates Degree from Diablo Valley College in 2004. She was re-diagnosed with another brain tumor in June 2004. She refused to be dunted by this setback, and continued on with her zest for travel and family gatherings. Nicole's journey through her illness has been inspiration to all who knew her. Facing every challenge with fierce determination, she maintained a spirit that buoyed everyone around her.
