Teresa Hurd, 87 of Brentwood, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Greenleaf Care Home. She was born May 29, 1929 in New York City, New York, the daughter of Dr. Vincent Fanoni and Mae Shields. Teresa was a graduate of Miss Hewitt's School for girls in New York City. She married Ralph S. Hurd on November 29, 1950. Teresa was a homemaker and avid animal lover and advocate. She surrounded herself with cats and dogs throughout her life and her pets were always loved and cherished. Her distinctive personality, passion for her family and generosity will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son Mark Hurd, his wife Paula and their two daughters; Kelly and Kathryn. Her daughter Valerie Tsubota, her husband John and their two sons; Evan and Scott.
