Obituary of Greg Johnson

Please share a memory of Greg to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Greg Morris Johnson went home to be with the Lord following a courageous 2 year battle with brain cancer. Greg was born in southern California and spent his growing up years in Glendora. Greg graduated from University of the Pacific, Stockton and has made his home in Lafayette for the past 15 years. Greg's pride and joy were his children, daughter Natalie Farris (married to Nathan Farris), son Miles and daughters Caroline and Jillian Mae. He is survived by his wife Marci and their 4 children, along with his mother Connie Johnson of Huntington Beach, brother Eric and his wife Deanne of Laguna Hills and brother Kirk and wife Judy also of Huntington Beach. Greg worked as the Vice Principal/Dean of Students at Berean Chrisitian High School in Walnut CReek. An avid sports fan, Greg loved the coaching he did with the students. He coached JV football, Varsity Boy's basketball and Varsity Swimming. He LOVED Berean and felt blessed to be able to do the two things he enjoyed most in life...encourage/instruct others in their walk with the Lord and athletics. Friends and neighbors are invited to a memorial service which will celebrate Greg's life of service on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 7:30 pm at Berean Christian High School, 245 El Divisadero Avenue, Walnut Creek. Those wishing may send contributions to the high school in Greg's name. Check the school's web site for further details. www.berean-eagles.org
